Cognitive Awakenings
I write to you today amidst a rather long personal journey of cognitive awakenings. Given the current storm of political, social and economic strife we find ourselves enduring, I’m confident I’m not alone in experiencing such awakenings. My first such awakening came upon the realization that I had been deceived and manipulated by false narratives surrounding the single most memorable day of my young adulthood; The day of September 11th, 2001.
While this awakening was the first and single most reality shattering, there would be many to follow as I found myself digging for deeper truths and realities hidden in the shadows. As I experienced more of these discoveries, I began to realize that many of them shared a common theme: Manipulating the minds and hearts of a well-intention-ed citizenry to the benefit of corporations, governments and elitists.
We continue to see this theme of emotional manipulation and congitive confusion through narratives today as we see news articles (that no one bothers to read) with deceptive headlines and social media sites constantly suppressing and fact-checking information under the guise of ‘combating misinformation’. All of this deceptive emotional jargon and suppression of information inevitably leads to conflicts.
It is precisely these conflicts and confusion of narratives that has compelled me to do what I can to combat them through cognitive analysis. I invite you to join me on this journey to… trust, but verify.
Purpose
The purpose of my writings will be to lead discussion by applying discernment and cognitive analysis to various subject matters. To identify and quantify the who, what, when, where and why of our discoveries and achieve a holistic viewpoint that considers all of the facts available at a given moment. By applying these methods and remaining focused on the rational rather than the emotional, perhaps we can achieve a clearer understanding of our reality.
The goals of my writings will be to …
Challenge ourselves through engaging, productive and effective discourse
Collectively gather tools, resources, and thoughtful approaches
Evolve perspective as we gain new insight and challenge one another to revisit and reconsider old perspectives
Participate in a collective pursuit towards heightened discernment
What I encourage you, as well as myself, to do is…
Continue your own researching and applying cognitive analysis
Share relevant information, documents or other tools & resources to help inform
Bring an open mind when analyzing information
Be respectful to all
COG
My forthcoming articles will center upon a particular topic that has been of significant interest to me. You may have cleverly guessed this topic if you paid special attention to the use of capitalization in the title of this article and my namesake that matches it. That topic is Continuity of Government (COG). Perhaps you’re familiar with this topic and discovered it the same way I did, by way of discovering a substack series titled ‘Devolution’ authored by Patel Patriot. I stumbled upon this series, his research and the series’ proposed theory a little more than a year ago. I've continued to read the articles with each release as well as absorbing additional content by the author.
I recently uncovered another substack series which focuses on the same topic of COG. A series commonly referred to as ‘Reconstitution’ which is authored by a group calling themselves 17th Special Operations Group - referred to as 17SOG.
If you find yourself unfamiliar with this topic and the aforementioned writings, perhaps a short synopsis may help pique your interest.
Continuity of Government (COG), simply put, refers to plans, policies, and documents laid out under the authority of the Executive Branch of the United States Federal Government. These plans are intended to address the Federal Government’s ability to quickly and effectively act - in accordance with policy and procedural documents which instruct how to maintain government functions, communications and authority - during times of emergency.
Originally the emergency in mind upon the first draft of these documents was nuclear warfare; but over time the definition of such emergencies that may trigger the implementation of these plans has expanded.
COG might sound like a rather mundane or dry topic as it seems like any other business continuity plan; and “who cares”, right? Well, the particular reason this seems to be a notable topic of late is it has been asserted by some that these COG plans have been employed as recently as the Trump administration, with some debate as to whether or not the Federal Government is still actively in some form of Continuity of Government plan.
Whether you’re familiar with this topic or just discovering it, I intend to dedicate future articles to the subject matter.
In my initial articles series we will review…
Publications or parts thereof from both series (Devolution & Reconstitution).
Documents and other materials related to COG
News, events and communications that might be suggestive of COG plans
Where We Go Next We Go All
As we address this complex and interesting topic, I hope that we can challenge ourselves and others around us to both comprehend and communicate our own perspectives in an effort to encourage productive discourse regarding those unique perspectives. By applying rigorous analysis and sharing our insights as a community we move toward the goal of bringing clarity to our reality both individually and collectively.
If you too are weary and tired of weathering the storm of confusion, manipulation, reactions and emotional responses, then perhaps you’ll accept my prior invitation to journey with me as we…
